Level 4, 5 & 6

NSG competes under USAG gymnastics.  This is the governing body of gymnastics which supports the United States National Gymnastics team, and the program through which the US Olympic team is established. Level four Level four is the first level of competitive gymnastics that NSG participates in.  This level is achieved through  successful completion of the Academy program.  This is a compulsory level in which the gymnasts all compete the same routines on four events, with each routine starting from a 10.00.  Gymnasts must receive an All Around score of a 30.00 to qualify to the state gymnastics championships.  The All Around score is determined by combined scores from each of the four individual events. Level 5 & 6 Level 5 & 6 are a continuation of the compulsory program in which the skills increase in difficulty. Gymnasts must receive an All Around score of 30.00 to qualify to the state gymnastics championships.
